I was recently reading about potential security risks if this whole robot swarm concept materialized and found in the wrong hands. the robot insects could literally enter through any crack and put your home at risk.

what could we do if we were to build the perfect home in the future?

Line the walls with lead and anti-radio signal alloys so that no transmission of any remote controlled device can enter?

Build our homes virtually waterproof to not allow an insect to enter in case the robot insect was fully autonomous once it found its way to the home?

security Sensors built in to detect such a presence?

This is what I lie awake at night thinking of sometimes. :comando:

Putting screens on all your windows is a start.

But yeah, once drone technology gets advanced enough, passive defenses like screens won't be sufficient since you'll be up against intelligent adversaries that can get around them, so you'll need to have your own intelligent, active defense system in the form of an advanced home security system run by an AI.

As an aside, it's occurred to me that, if intelligent aliens are visiting Earth, one way they would monitor us is with machines that are the size and shape of insects. It might be that there's an alien database of DNA from every human who has ever lived, compiled thanks to billions of robot mosquitoes sucking blood from people while they slept.
