One of the great things about robotics and A.i will be the reality that it will get rid of most work as an necessity for maintaining a civilization and the quality of life of its people. I believe real communism within a communal manner will not only be possible but also necessarily by the 2070's. Of course, that depends on world wide wars and outright destruction not happening.
