I don't expect any to be mass produced untll 2014-2015 at 150-500k a piece.
Urban Aeronautics X-Hawk-possibly as big as a van. I'm not sure when this will come out but knowing flying car history I doubt before 2020.
Next is the Moller 400-No they have been working for 40 freaking years on it and still haven't want on the market. So they saying 4 more years is hard for me to believe.
Next is the terrafugia transition-This will need a run way of course but will be able to drive on the street. Based on current test and the speed of the development this and the switchblade is likely to be on the market within the 2013-2014 period!
Next is the switch-blade that will be pretty much a kit
A real gyo-copter-No little johny won't be flying it outside of his automated class room as this cost 300k!
The terafugia being that it being supported by the millitary to build a millitary flying vehilcal. I just have a hard time believeing they won't deviler.
The American Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, has shown an interest in the concept with a sixty five million dollar program called Transformer to develop a four place roadable aircraft by 2015. The vehicle is required to take off vertically, and have a 280 mile range. Terrafugia, AAI Corporation, and other Textron companies have been awarded the contract.
Moller 200-600-Unlikely before 2015
Knowing the last 40 years I won't be holding my breath!
