We will definitely be able to. Technically we already /do/ have modified humans, if you count the people given gene therapy for diseases modified. The little girl cured of the 'bubble boy' disease, the Berlin Patient cured of HIV from a bone marrow transplant, so on. We'll definitely be modifying ourselves. Pointy ears? That seems very simple to do, but what do I know? I'm no geneticist. Personally, I'm going for extended life above all else :-)
The universe has gone from unimaginable, featureless heat to complexity and it will return in time to unimaginable, featureless cold.

Will we able to genetically modify humans to look prettier, healthier, more intelligent, selfless, and change what it is to be human? What I do see is a lot of fairie art work that look human but have pointy ears like in startrek, will we be able to make humans with pointy ears as I think it looks attractive!
Perhaps you could save the idea for the upcoming porn version of the immersive virtual reality experience.

If something I say sounds like trolling/being stupid/offensive, please forgive me. I'm bad with people.
