I'm lolling at how many people called it communist, though. Hard and annoyingly USican liberal, but not socialist, let alone communist.

If anything, it'd be a degenerated Ayn Rand libertarian utopia.

I heavily agree with you. While Elysium had a good plot, they incorporated too many plot holes and very many cliches.


The hero sacrificing his life to save humanity cliche.

The hero seeking help from the revolution to win cliche.

The plan doesn't go as expected cliches.

The Jodie Foster is a strong woman cliche.


The list just goes on and on.
