Hey guys

Just putting Kurzweil's movie Transcendent man up, in case none of you have seen it.

I found it pretty good

The art of forgetting is inherent in human minds; the art of being forgotten  is the normal fate of knowing. We as futurists don't accept that. In the panels of the Universe, we alone will remain standing; remain unforgotten.

When you get time go for it. It's a good watch.

Just watched it there. It's left me feeling more grounded than before.

The comments about his father and that he is squeezing his predictions into a time frame that he will live to see are quite depressing.

I hope his future is the one mankind achieves, but I am less optimistic than before. Only time will tell I guess.

Watched it, thought it was awesome. He is definitely setting the dates of his predictions deliberately within his lifetime, but i think a lot of his claims can be substantiated.
