I doubt it, he's 71, it's a miracle he lasted this long.

Doubt it. Even without the paralysis, he's an older man. Some of us (Hopefully most if not all) will live to see age-halting medicine, but sadly, I can not see that happening for Mr. Hawking.
The universe has gone from unimaginable, featureless heat to complexity and it will return in time to unimaginable, featureless cold.
