More and more people are doing away with landline telephones in favour of mobile phones nowadays, but what is your situation like?

I think I use the internet the most, then my mobile.

Were I to buy a flat or house today I don't think a landline would be a necessity at all.

I use all 3, though landline quite a bit less than mobile & skype

All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible. - T. E. Lawrence

I have a mobile phone with a virtual landline for my business. Directs straight to my mobile. Looks like I have premises when I don't.

I use both. I use mobile for keeping in contact with friends and family, and landline for phoning other landline phones, such as takeaways and businesses.

I use both. Both my "landline" is Voice over IP (VoIP).

I kind of want to switch back to an analog phone line for times when the power goes out because those lines will still work.

I haven't had a landline for 6 years. I use my mobile & the internet for communication.
