In the future instead of going to barbershops and hair salons do you think they will be replaced by nanobots or fog lets?  It would work like this.  So you come home to realize that your hair was getting big and out of shape and you had some bald spots which was very embarrassing.  So through voice, thinking, or gesture you would send a command and image to a holographic display or interactive surface on what you what your hair to be.  The nanobots (or fog lets) eventually make their way to the person's hair and construct by beaming hair follicles to the persons hair or cutting them depending on what they want.  So basically a bald man can grow an afro in seconds to minutes.  Do you think this would happen? and how would it change our lives?

I am not sure we will use nanobots for that, but I am pretty sure we are going to replace all those things. Who knows maybe we will all be robots with glowing fiber-optic hair. I don't know, but I am pretty sure barbershops are on the way out.

yes they will dissapear at some point. possibly by the end of this century.

i can definitely see nanobots doing that when it will become ubiquitous. not just hair but bone structure, skin color/texture, etc. there will even come a time that women wont need to wear makeup because skin color can be manipulated and customized. or men not needing to take a bath or brush their teeth but still be very clean and hygienic.  but that's just the early years of transhumanism.
