Was browsing 3DPrintBoard earlier and found this poll: http://3dprintboard....ave-3D-Printers By the year 2016 what percentage of household will have a 3D Printer in them? In my opinion I think things could really take off in the 3D Printing industry over the next 36 months or so. By the end of 2016 I would not be surprised if 15-20 of American Household has some sort of 3D Printer in them. Opinions?

I think that they will probably become "mainstream" by the 2020s, but I agree that 15-20% of households in 2016 sounds about right.

I hope to purchase a printer by 2015, give or take, so add .00000001% to that statistic.
