Warp speed is the fastest speed in the universe although never achieved. Warp speed came into idea by the old episodes of Star Trek. Technology going to warp speed would take hundreds of thousands, even millions of years due to Eisenstein's Theory of Relativity. What this means if you go as fast as light, time slows down. Its like Mother Nature is like a cop saying "You can not go faster than light in the universe". But I think we can overcome this problem and our future would be more futuristic than Star Trek, even any fiction writers imagination. There's also the Karadsvev Scale, the type of human civilization. Even though humans evolved for over 200,000 years, the type of human civilization was under type 1. But the modern times are when technology enhancement is speeding up far faster. By the end of next decade, technology will be starting to explode. Physicist Dr. Michio Kaku says humans will evolve into type 1 in at least 100-200 years, Type 2 in the next millennium, and Type 3 in 100,000 to a million years. Some even think humans would have the entire way of god when the Sun becomes a black dwarf. Technology will continue to advance for many years.
