I can't wait until nature and technology merge into one so nature can defend itself from our "wise intervention." For example if a bunch of unmodified human loggers go to cut down some Brazilian rain forest then the forest can release nanotechnology to put the pesky ape invaders to sleep for a few hours or something. We could also have organic spaceships with this technology providing their own food and oxygen for long voyages through the dark.
