Thanks for all these corrections.

It's frustrating though. I'd rather be writing about stuff like "Cyborgs colonising Venus" in 2120, or "The first AI President" in 2080, but instead I've had to keep doing all these changes to existing predictions lately.

I was wondering if you've considered implementing somewhat of a wiki-based model, with trusted users being allowed to suggest changes that you'd approve? Would help with reducing the tedium of the basic timeline maintenance while allowing you to focus more on in-depth predictions.

I am planning a major overhaul of the site (which hasn't been redesigned since 2017), and that's a very interesting idea. I would definitely consider something like that.

My medium to longer-term plan is basically:

- Launch the new website I've spent the last couple of years working on (great progress lately; on track for mid-2026 or earlier).
- Future Timeline overhaul/relaunch (best guess ~2028-ish). This will include a search engine and improved navigation.
- Past Timeline (~2030). I'm still hopeful this project will happen... eventually.

Heh, that was one of the very first predictions to appear on the site (as you can see from "Last accessed" on its reference). Indeed, needs an update!

The synthetic human genome prediction needs to be moved a few decades into the future; a synthetic chromosome won't be here until 2030-2035, let alone the whole thing.

Okay, that's been added. Thanks for the suggestion. :)
