Kennedy Jr.’s closest associates has told the Daily Beast.
Dr. Aseem Malhotra, a British cardiologist who has repeatedly claimed in the face of scientific consensus that the vaccines are more dangerous than the virus, told the Daily Beast that Kennedy’s stance is shared by “influential” members of President Donald Trump’s family. Like Kennedy himself, no Trumps hold any scientific qualifications.
Malhotra is a leading adviser to the controversial lobby group Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Action, which is seen as an external arm of Kennedy’s agenda as Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary.
He told the Beast that many of those closest to RFK Jr. have told him they “cannot understand” why the vaccine continues to be prescribed, and that a decision to remove the vaccine from the U.S. market pending further research will come “within months,” even if it is likely to cause “fear of chaos” and bring with it major legal ramifications.

The active ingredient in a common over-the-counter allergy spray may do more than ease hay fever symptoms. A new clinical trial found azelastine cut COVID-19 infections by 70%, hinting at a cheap, accessible way to add protection alongside vaccines.
Let’s be honest: when it comes to COVID-19 prevention, the conversation usually starts and ends with vaccines. But researchers say your everyday allergy spray might have a surprising new role.
A Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial led by researchers from Saarland University in Germany has found that a widely used over-the-counter (OTC) anti-allergy nasal spray containing azelastine not only significantly reduced the likelihood of people being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, but it also lowered the incidence of infections with the common cold.

................
Vaccine advisers to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention voted unanimously on Friday to shift away from a broad recommendation for Covid-19 vaccines to say that people who want one must consult with a health care provider, a process known as shared clinical decision-making.
................
The recommendations are not final; they go to Acting CDC Director Jim O’Neill for approval. O’Neill, a deputy of HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s, has led the agency since Dr. Susan Monarez was ousted abruptly last month.
..................
The vote by the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices carries additional implications for vaccine access since some states adhere closely to the committee’s recommendations. The result may be a patchwork of vaccine access from state to state, depending in part on on who is able to administer vaccines.
In a statement, a US Department of Health and Human Services spokesperson said the vote on shared clinical decision-making “provides for immunization coverage through all payment mechanisms including entitlement programs such as Children’s Health Insurance Program, Medicaid, and Medicare, as well as insurance plans through the federal Health Insurance Marketplace.”

Doctor urges public to make three changes as latest Covid strain soars in UK
19 Sep 2025
A new Covid variant is on the rise in the UK, and one doctor is urging us to make three everyday changes to avoid catching it. The new variant, dubbed 'Stratus', has two different strains - XFG and XFG. 3, which were initially identified in January this year.
By June, the World Health Organisation had classified XFG as being "under monitoring" amid reports of "increasing proportions globally." With autumn setting in, this new variant is on the rise again in the UK, but there are ways we can avoid becoming infected.
Now that we're in September, Covid cases in general are on the rise, with Scotland having seen 415 officially reported cases for last week (ending September 14) and 180 hospital admissions with the virus. While it's unknown how many of these cases are the new variant, it's clear that we should be staying vigilant in doing our best to avoid the disease.
A GP is urging people to adopt three changes as the virus continues its spread across the UK, suggesting that these protective measures could help shield individuals from infection, reports the Mirror. Dr Kader utilised his TikTok platform, known as ask.doctor.k, to outline precisely what the public should understand regarding the symptoms.
Dr Kader explained: "Here's what you need to know about the new Covid variant that's hit the UK. It's called Stratus or XFG, and actually the symptoms are a little bit different when compared to the previous variants."

COVID-19 Can Alter Sperm and Affect Brain Development In Offspring, Causing Anxious Behavior

Read more here: https://www.iflscience.com/covid-19-ca ... ior-81160( IFL Science) The effects of a COVID-19 infection can sometimes persist for months or years after the initial symptoms have gone, but could some of the impact even be transferred to the next generation? Scientists studying male mice infected with SARS-CoV-2 discovered that it could alter their sperm, leading to behavioral changes in their offspring. It remains to be seen whether the same is true in humans.
“We already knew that when male mice were exposed to specific environmental and lifestyle factors, like poor diet before mating, it could change brain development and behaviour in offspring,” said lead researcher Professor Anthony Hannan from The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health in a statement.
“This is because the father’s experiences can alter the information carried in sperm, including specific RNA molecules, which transmit instructions for offspring development.”
Research had already shown how COVID-19 – which we know has effects way beyond the respiratory system – can alter sperm, potentially hanging around for up to 110 days. The team wanted to investigate whether COVID also had the potential to cause this type of RNA damage.
Male mice were infected with a rodent-adapted version of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and were monitored while they recovered. It took them 7-10 days to clear the infection, and body weight loss was used as a proxy for infection severity. In order to limit the experiment to mice with moderate or severe COVID, only those with 9-15 percent weight loss were taken forward.

Amid Confusing CDC Guidance About Vaccines, Study Highlights New Risk of COVID-19 During Pregnancy
By Duaa Eldeib

Introduction:
Read more here: https://www.propublica.org/article/cov ... study-cdc(ProPublica) In the first 18 months of the COVID-19 pandemic, tens of thousands of pregnant women were wheeled into hospitals where they fought for their lives and the lives of the babies they carried.
It took the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention until August 2021, eight months after the first vaccine was administered, to formally recommend the COVID-19 shot for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. The CDC had found that pregnant women with COVID-19 faced a 70% increased risk of dying, compared with those who weren’t. They also faced an increased risk of being admitted to the intensive care unit, needing a form of life support reserved for the sickest patients, and delivering a stillborn baby. In recommending the vaccine, the CDC assured them that the shot was safe and did not cause fertility problems.
ProPublica examined the harm caused by the delay in rolling out and endorsing the vaccine for pregnant mothers. Federal officials at the time told us that they wanted to ensure “an abundance of evidence” before issuing guidance.
But a surprising turn of events this summer reversed that guidance.
In May, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the Health and Human Services secretary and a longtime vaccine critic, announced on X that “the COVID vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women has been removed from @CDCgov recommended immunization schedule. Bottom line: it’s common sense and it’s good science. We are now one step closer to realizing @POTUS’s promise to Make America Healthy Again.”
Don't mourn, organize.
