Lets say that a.i and machines can make all the goods and basics? Why should anyone be forced to work? shouldn't that be considered to have been a form of slavery in the future?

Canada actually did UBI experiments already in limited trials, the results seemed very promising. I wouldn't be surprised at all if our more humanely inclined northern neighbors adopted a UBI system fully. Have much more faith in them doing so than us at least.

Also, nice to see that "Canzuk" is still a thing. Maybe having mobility between these countries could mean adopting similar UBI policies throughout them.
