It's interesting to see the right speak of intolerance, or the lack thereof. Now yeah, the left talks about it a lot. The key difference, however, is that the left wants to restrict harmful things and let people do harmless things. The right wants the opposite.

Trump’s Campaign Said It Raised $50.5 Million at a High-dollar Florida Fundraiser
April 6 , 2024

Introduction:
(CNBC) Donald Trump’s campaign said it raised $50.5 million on Saturday, a staggering reported haul as his campaign works to catch up to the fundraising juggernaut of President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party.

The reported haul from the event with major donors at the Palm Beach, Florida, home of billionaire investor John Paulson sets a new single-event fundraising record and is almost double the $26 million that Biden’s campaign said it raised recently at a gathering with former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Cornel West Announces Activist and Academic Melina Abdullah as Running Mate
by Kelby Vera
April 10, 2024

Introduction:
(Huffington Post) Third-party presidential hopeful Dr. Cornel West has announced that activist and professor Melina Abdullah will be his running mate.

West introduced Abdullah as his vice presidential pick during a Wednesday appearance on the Tavis Smiley radio show and podcast, where he called her “one of the great freedom fighters of her generation” and a “lover of the people.”

Abdullah is a leader of the Los Angeles chapter of Black Lives Matter and is a professor of Pan-African Studies at California State University, Los Angeles.

During the announcement, West told Smiley he wanted a running mate whose “heart mind and soul” was “committed to the empowerment of poor and working peoples of all colors.”

Though he’s never held political office, the Princeton professor emeritus has been pitching himself as an alternative for voters weary of major party candidates President Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
