It's time for a 6th paradigm in computing. We've been stuck in the 5th too long, and the slowing curve is sort of manifestation of that.

He meant the range (or distribution curve, if you will) where nearly all supercomputers still fall in the petaflop category.

That's a different measure, though, from what I understand. Not "true" exaFLOPS.

So I've been Googling around as I research my next timeline prediction, and I discovered two additional levels that surpass yottaflops!
The sequence goes like this:
Exaflops
Zettaflops
Yottaflops
Brontoflops
Geoflops
