I really don't follow this guy that closely but I have heard of him. Sounds unsurprising based on what I've heard.

Andrew Tate: Romanian police to hold influencer for 30 days

A Romanian court has agreed to a police request to hold the controversial influencer Andrew Tate in detention for 30 days.

Tate was arrested alongside his brother Tristan on Thursday as part of an investigation into allegations of human trafficking and rape.

Authorities suspect the pair, along with two Romanian men, of running an "an organised crime group".

Tristan, and two others, were also detained by the court in Bucharest.

Andrew Tate, 36, has yet to comment directly on the accusations.

Report: Twitter to close Seattle offices after company stops paying rent
Source: KIRO 7 (CBS affiliate)
Twitter has reportedly stopped paying rent at its Seattle office and now faces eviction, according to the New York Times.

The Times spoke with people familiar with the matter who said janitorial and security services were cut.

The apparent shutdown of the office coincides with a layoff notice sent in November by the Employment Security Department of Washington State. Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notices are required in Washington when 100 or more employees will be affected by closures or layoffs.

On November 4, a notice affecting 257 Seattle Twitter employees said layoffs would start on January 4.

Twitter in data-protection probe after '400 million' user details up for sale
Source: BBC
A watchdog is to investigate Twitter after a hacker claimed to have private details linked to more than 400 million accounts. The hacker, "Ryushi", is demanding $200,000 (£166,000) to hand over the data - reported to include that of some celebrities - and delete it. Ireland's Data Protection Commission (DPC) says it "will examine Twitter's compliance with data-protection law in relation to that security issue".

Twitter has not commented on the claim. The data is said to include phone numbers and emails, including those belonging to celebrities and politicians, but the purported size of the haul is not confirmed. Only a small "sample" has so far been made public.

The Guardian reported that data of US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was included in the sample of data published by the hacker. The data of broadcaster Piers Morgan, who recently had his Twitter account hacked, is also reported to be included. Twitter has so far not responded to press inquiries about the claimed breach.
