Please; it would be nice if you could get an actual article on the subject. Here's one by Business Insider.

He's probably just saying that to not limit his options. In reality that's not gonna happen unless Russia drops a nuke or something

Ukraine's armed forces have shot down a second Russian fighter jet in a day, according to Kyiv's military.
"Oops, we did it again! Another Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber was destroyed by Ukrainian warriors in the eastern direction," Ukraine's Defense Ministry said in a post on social media.

Re: Ukraine War Watch Thread
Interesting to look back on this essay by a Russian blogger from two years ago. The war hasn't ended yet, but out of the six possible outcomes he forecast, #2 seems the likeliest right now. He predicted there was a 90% chance it WOULDN'T end that way.
https://www.maximumtruth.org/p/understanding-russia?s=r2. Bloody slog, “draw” (10%) — Russia’s military tries for months, but proves simply unable to take and control Kiev. Russia instead contents itself with taking Ukraine’s south and east (roughly, the blue areas in the election map above) and calls it a win. In this case, western Ukraine likely later joins NATO.

Let's be honest, I think Putin will answer with drones beyond Ukraine.

I was simply unable to find the original Le Monde article, and it's all just RT claiming (and likely bullshitting). I'm not going to believe this until the actual Le Monde article surfaces.
I'm also confused as to why you continue to use a Russian propaganda outlet as a source on Ukraine.

I believe it's one of these two.
All foreign military in Ukraine should be summarily executed on the spot when captured. They are foreigners, who are committing premeditated murder of Russians. Immediate execution upon capture of foreign military in Ukraine, NO exception.

Ukraine-Russia war live: Kyiv planning ‘serious operation’ in Crimea as Zelensky slams Pope’s white flag claim
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 10443.html10 minutes ago
Ukraine is planning a “serious operation” in Crimea, the peninsula illegally annexed by Russia in 2014, Kyiv’s military intelligence chief has said.
Speaking in a new programme aired on Ukrainian television, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov pointed to recent Ukrainian attacks on Vladimir Putin’s prized Black Sea fleet as sending a message to “forgotten” residents in the peninsula annexed by Russia in 2014.
“These are all preparatory measures for a serious operation in Crimea,” said Mr Budanov, in reference to Ukrainian attacks on Russia’s navy. “This is a test of the correctness of our statements about the ways of approach and departure from there.
“In addition, it is a good message for the population that has been living under occupation for 10 years. Many of them believe that they have been forgotten.”
It came as president Volodymyr Zelensky hit back at Pope Francis’s claims that Ukraine should have the “courage of the white flag”, telling the Catholic leader that Ukrainians “with weapons in their hands and under the blue and yellow flag” were resisting Russia’s further invasion into Europe.

Ukraine-based Russian armed groups claim raids into Russia
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-685419113 hours ago
Three Ukraine-based Russian paramilitary groups say they have crossed into Russia and are now fighting government troops there.
The Freedom of Russia Legion (FRL) and Siberian Battalion (SB) posted videos purportedly showing their fighters in Russia's Belgorod and Kursk regions.
The FRL and an exiled Russian politician claimed two villages were now in control of "liberation forces".
Russia's defence ministry said the breakthrough attempts were thwarted.
Ukraine's military denied any involvement in Tuesday's cross-border raids. Andriy Yusov, a spokesman for the country's military intelligence, said the paramilitary groups were "independent organisations" of Russian nationals, and therefore operating "at home".

Occupied Ukraine encouraged to vote in Russian election by armed men
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-685353017 hours ago
Moscow has launched a wide-ranging campaign telling residents of occupied parts of Ukraine to vote in Russia's presidential election.
For the first time, the national vote is taking place over three days (15-17 March), but additional early voting has already begun in the occupied parts of four Ukrainian regions: Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk.
One resident complained of pro-Russian collaborators with ballot boxes going from house to house looking for voters accompanied by armed soldiers.
Vladimir Putin will certainly win another term of office, but a high turnout would help the Kremlin's efforts to legitimise his continued rule.
It would also be used to justify Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
