Pregnant woman, 22, is decapitated as her family planned baby shower: Horror as head is found in a dumpster outside house as police charge her 'savage monster' ex-boyfriend, 22, with murdering her and unborn child

A 22-year-old pregnant woman has been found decapitated, just weeks before her family were set to surprise her with a baby shower.

Liese Dodd, who was eight months pregnant with her first child, was discovered by her mother in her apartment in Alton, Illinois, on Thursday.

Her decapitated head was found in a dumpster outside the building in a murder police have described as 'abominable'.

Dodd's ex-boyfriend Deundrea Holloway, 22, has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of the expectant mother and her unborn baby girl.

Dodd, who fondly called her unborn child 'my little bean', has been described by her family as a 'bright light that cared for everyone'.

Her mother, Heidi Noel, said the family were planning a baby shower for Dodd for the end of this month - and were gathering gifts together ahead of the birth in late July.

Noel, who is now instead planning a funeral for her daughter and granddaughter, said she had sent out the invitations and the family were gathering gifts together.

She said Holloway was not the father of the baby, but the pair had been in an on-and-off relationship for two years.

London man Vishaal Vijapura jailed after stalking 121 victims
https://nypost.com/2022/06/18/london-ma ... 1-victims/

Vishaal Vijapura created elaborate spreadsheets with personal details of people and their home addresses
A London man was jailed for two years and eight months after stalking at least 121 victims and writing a rape list, the Metropolitan Police said.

Vishaal Vijapura, 28, was found guilty on seven counts of stalking after he paid over $600 for online services to find his victims’ personal details, including their home addresses and phone numbers, and shared his findings online.

He used the details he found to intimidate victims by telling them private information about themselves during his string of attacks.

Vijapura even wrote an alarming post on social media, titled, “Why rape is better than sex,” police said.

His obsession with combing through potential victims’ information didn’t stop there.

Vijapura created elaborate spreadsheets he categorized with various personal details including the names, home addresses, dates of birth, phone numbers, names of relatives, and social media handles of the people he sought out, according to the UK’s Crown Prosecution Service.

“Vishaal Vijapura carried out a shocking, truly frightening and vicious campaign of stalking against a number of victims,” said Helen Shaw, from the Crown Prosecution Service.

“His conduct involved hiding behind a screen and anonymously using social media to threaten to inflict extreme and graphic sexual violence upon his victims.”

According to police, Vijapura paid an ancestry website to find out more details about his victims’ backgrounds and their relatives.

He then took his planned-out attacks a step further and messaged the victims directly by firing off lewd texts.

In one of the texts he sent, Vijapura threatened a victim by saying he would film himself raping her and then post it online.

In another, he told a victim he would make her “completely unconscious.”

Police discovered his disturbing essays describing the in-depth sexual abuse and rape fantasies he sent to some of his victims.

In a desperate bid to avoid losing contact with his potential victims, Vijapura created at least 28 different social media accounts between June 2020 and January 2021.

Once blocked by the person he was attempting contact with, he would simply start messaging them on another account.

His crimes came to light in January 2021 when his victims filed official complaints to police after he published a list of women’s names along with an essay explaining why they should be raped.

Cops were able to locate him using his IP address, and he was soon arrested.

“The internet is now a safer place with future-proofing against ongoing offending from this man in the form of a custodial sentence. This kind of criminality is dangerous and offensive and will absolutely not be tolerated,” said detective inspector, Paul Smith.

Vijapura was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison on Tuesday at Croydon Crown Court in London after he pleaded guilty.

He received a sexual harm prevention order for five years, as well as a restraining order banning him from directly or indirectly contacting anyone on his list.

1 dead and 3 others, including cop, injured in DC shooting: Police
Source: ABC NEWS

A 15-year-old boy has died and three adults, including a police officer, were injured in a shooting in Washington, D.C., Sunday night, officials said.

The shooting took place near 14th and U streets Northwest, in a popular area filled with stores, restaurants and bars. The area played host to "Moechella," a free concert celebrating Juneteenth.

The Metropolitan Police Department had reported an earlier, separate incident at the concert, when a fight was broken up, MPD Chief Robert Contee said.

Shortly after that, there was a secondary incident, Contee said, during which "people started to scatter" and some were "being trampled." The MPD shut down the concert because it appeared it was "unsafe," police said.

Mass shooting at Norway pub being investigated as terrorism – police
Sat 25 Jun 2022

A mass shooting at a bar in Oslo in which two people were killed and 14 injured early on Saturday is being investigated as an act of terrorism, a spokesperson for the Norwegian city’s police said.

The shooting happened outside the London Pub – a popular gay bar and nightclub – in the centre of the capital, police said. It occurred as the city was gearing up for an annual Pride parade.

A suspect was arrested and police did not believe any other people were involved, police spokesman Tore Barstad said earlier.

He said the motive was not immediately known and it wasn’t clear whether the shooting had any connection to the Pride parade that was to be held Saturday in Oslo.

“Police are in contact with the organisers of the Pride event this Saturday,” Barstad said. “There will be a continuous assessment of what measures police should take to protect that event and whether this incident has a connection to Pride at all.”

He said 14 people were receiving medical treatment, eight of whom have been hospitalised.

'Too much mayo': Subway customer arrested after shooting 2 employees, killing 1 over sandwich order
Source: WSB TV

Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that has left one woman dead and another in critical condition at a metro Atlanta Subway store.

The reason for the shooting? Too much mayonnaise on a sandwich, police said.

APD responded to a Circle K gas station at the intersection of Northside and Markham St. to calls about a shooting just after 6:30 p.m. When they arrived, they learned two female employees had been shot after a dispute about the amount of mayonnaise on a customer’s Subway sandwich.

Police said the woman who was killed was 26 years old. A 24-year-old employee was shot in front of her 5-year-old son and is now in critical condition. A relative told Channel 2′s Tom Jones that the victim, Jada Statum, was hit twice after she pushed her son under the counter to keep him from being hurt.

Woman pushing a baby stroller shot dead in Manhattan's Upper East Side, police say
Source: CNN

A woman pushing a baby in a stroller was shot in the head at close-range and killed in Manhattan Wednesday night, police said.

The three-month-old baby was unharmed, and the relationship between the 20-year-old woman and the baby was unclear Wednesday, police told CNN.

The shooting happened just after 8:20 p.m. in Manhattan's Upper East Side, police noted. Authorities are searching for a suspect.

"A woman is pushing a baby carriage down the block and is shot in point blank range. It shows just how this national problem is impacting families," New York City Mayor Eric Adams said during a news conference. "It doesn't matter if you are on the Upper East Side or East New York, Brooklyn."

Police in the city said a person had been arrested in connection with the shooting in Fields, which is close to the airport.

Emergency services have asked people to avoid the area.

Anyone who is still in the shopping centre should stay where they are and wait for the police, the authorities said.

Photos online showed people running away from the shopping centre which is one of the biggest in Europe.

Copenhagen Mayor Sophie H Andersen tweeted: “Terrible reports of shooting in Fields. We do not yet know for sure how many were injured or dead, but it is very serious.”
