Victim, 40, who was 'beaten to death by Virginia Tech player, 18, after meeting the teen on Tinder while posing as a woman named Angie'
By Gina Martinez For Dailymail.Com
A Virginia Tech linebacker allegedly stomped his Tinder date to death after he discovered the woman named 'Angie' he's had oral sex with was actually a man.

Ismemen David Etute, 18, was charged in the death of Blacksburg restaurant manager Jerry Paul Smith after allegedly punching and stomping the 40-year-old multiple times on May 31.

Etute matched with Smith on Tinder but Smith's profile indicated he was a woman named 'Angie,' Etute's attorney James Turk told DailyMail.com.

The two first met April 10 for oral sex, during which Etute was still under the impression Smith was a woman, Montgomery County Commonwealth’s Attorney Mary Pettitt told the Montgomery County General District Court during a bond hearing on Wednesday morning.

Turk told DailyMail.com that Smith had multiple social media accounts where he posed as a woman named 'Angie.'

"We've Reached Our Breaking Point" - Dozens Of Baltimore Businesses Threaten Not To Pay Taxes
JUN 09, 2021

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/wev ... -pay-taxes
It comes as no surprise to readers that dozens of Baltimore City businesses, located in the Inner Harbor, in a stretch called "Fells Point," are threatening the new city government, run by Mayor Brandon Scott, with not paying their taxes because they're "fed up and frustrated" with the outburst of violence.

In a letter titled "Letter to City Leaders From Fells Point Business Leaders," addressed to Mayor Brandon Scott, Council President Nick Mosby, Councilman Zeke Cohen, Madam State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby, and Commissioner Michael Harrison, the 37 restaurants and small businesses are threatening to stop paying city taxes and other fees until "basic and essential municipal services are restored."

What's happening in Fells Point, known for its hipster pubs and taverns, as well as delicious seafood from the Chesapeake Bay, is experiencing an overflow of violent crime from other troubled areas.

The letter comes after three men were shot in Fells Point over the weekend.

"What is happening in our front yard — the chaos and lawlessness that escalated this weekend into another night of tragic, unspeakable gun violence — has been going on for far too long," said the letter...........

At least 13 people were injured in a shooting in downtown Austin, authorities say
Source: CNN

Updated 6:07 AM ET, Sat June 12, 2021

(CNN)At least 13 people were injured early Saturday morning in a shooting in downtown Austin, Texas, officials said. Two of the people injured are in critical condition, Austin Interim Chief of Police Joseph Chacon said at a news briefing Saturday.

Six people were taken to a hospital by the Austin Police Department, and the Austin-Travis County EMS brought in four others for medial treatment, Chacon said. Three other victims brought themselves to the hospital.

One hospital received 11 of the victims for treatment while another person was transported to a different hospital. One person went to an urgent care facility with multiple gunshot wounds, Chacon said.

Police have a very general description of the suspect and the incident appears to be isolated to the area, but could not say for certain that there was no additional public danger because the suspect is not in custody, Chacon said.

4 mass shootings in 6 hours leave 38 wounded, 6 dead across US
BILL HUTCHINSON
Sun, June 13, 2021, 10:34 AM·4 min read

At least four major U.S. cities were reeling from an onslaught of mass shootings over the weekend that left at least 38 people wounded, six dead and police officials alarmed that the surge in gun violence is a prelude to a bloody summer as the nation emerges from the pandemic.

Police in Austin, Cleveland, Chicago and Savannah were all investigating on Sunday mass shootings that erupted over a six-hour streak that began around 9 p.m. on Friday and spilled over into Saturday morning.

"It’s very disturbing what we’re seeing across the country and the level of gun violence that we’re seeing across the country. It’s disturbing and it’s senseless," Savannah Police Chief Roy Minter, Jr. said at a weekend news conference after one person was killed and eight others, including an 18-month-old baby and two teenagers, were wounded.

Introduction:
(The Hill) The FBI is warning lawmakers that QAnon conspiracy theorists may commit more acts of violence as the country grapples with the aftermath of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

Some of the conspiracy theory’s followers believe they "can no longer 'trust the plan'" established by the group’s standard-bearer, referred to as "Q," which is why they are changing their strategies, according to an unclassified FBI threat assessment on QAnon sent to lawmakers last week.

The report says, however, that the failure of QAnon predictions to materialize has not led people to give up on the conspiracy theory. Instead, there is a belief that individuals must take stronger control of the movement's direction than before.

This notion, according to the report, may lead the conspiracy’s followers to attempt to harm “perceived members of the 'cabal' such as Democrats and other political opposition — instead of continually awaiting Q's promised actions which have not occurred."

Other adherents, however, will likely "disengage from the movement or reduce their involvement in the wake of the administration change," the report added.
From:

... the FBI.... said the number of those supporters have dwindle(d), because predictions have failed to happen and QAnon content has been largely removed from social media platforms.
Don't mourn, organize.
