There will be too many plants in those future cities in my opinion. I don't like plants that much.

I've been thinking, that one of the major reasons things are so fast these days compared to 200 years ago, is that today a modern truck can can take 20x bigger/heavier cargo and drive at 10x faster speeds than 200 years ago a horse-driven transport could. That's a 200x improvement in the throughput of rural->cities, cities->rural and cities->cities transport of goods. Improvement in sea and ocean transport is even greater! Cargo ships can today carry 200x more than 200 years ago and they move 50% faster. That's a 300x improvement in their throughput. These huge improvements are crucial to the modern way of living. The unfortunate thing is that, in these areas, things haven't been changing radically recently. The biggest changes are the building of new roads, new railways, new cargo ships and the expansion of existing ports (like in Amsterdam).
Global economy doubles in product every 15-20 years. Computer performance at a constant price doubles nowadays every 4 years on average. Livestock-as-food will globally stop being a thing by ~2050 (precision fermentation and more). Human stupidity, pride and depravity are the biggest problems of our world.
