There'll be more electric cars on the road with better battery life, and there'll be even more self-driving cars being tested but it'll still not be widely available, legal, or profitable just yet. Basically what's going on today, only further along.

Rising gas prices especially will help drive electric adoption.

took a look at it, doesn't seem very practical and the design is rough on the eyes(giving me some tesla cybertruck vibes tbh). more likely by then the sub-prime auto loan crisis will be in its aftermath . considering the expense of electric cars, and the obvious fact that we'd have to mine for more lithium makes this an harmful endeavor in the long-run. anyone driving by then will probably just stick with the old(but cheap) beaten down cars they have, that is if folks are still driving those cars and aren't carpooling. ngl, we shot ourselves in the foot with this one.

as for FSD, not gonna totally shoot it down but it's gonna require a hell of a lot more than what's going on and given that a few people have already been injured or killed as a result and that there is plenty of videos on the internet of this technology failing with it making wrong turns at the wrong time, the hesitency of the general public adopting this technology combined with the lack of accessibility and legislators will make sure that this is schizo tech for the years to come.

I can't wait for airplanes that are more silent, in this case I await with eager the dawn of electric airplanes. Internal combustion engines are damn loud and airplanes are too damn loud for everyone.
And, as always, bye bye.
