I would think a Star Trek star replicator that moves around atoms and molecules to build stuff or use energy and covert it to matter to build stuff seems really far into the future.

Where Star Trek star replicator moves around atoms and molecules to make food and when done eating cleans the plate by removing atoms and molecules.

The Star Trek star replicator seems like it needs really advance nano technology and probably is 100 years out or more if it is even possible.

Other sci-fi and probably will not happen for long time if ever is star wars landspeeder.

This vehicle floats of the ground and cannot use fan,jet or propellers it requires anti gravity.

Other sci-fi and probably will not happen for long time if ever is nanites.

Really small tiny robots that patro your body and fix problems.

Other sci-fi and probably will not happen for long time if ever is spaceship.

They are really big and this would need anti gravity to take off from the ground and fly into space or would have to be build in space. They would also need warp drive because how else work you go from one star system to other star system that so far away.

Other sci-fi is going into space is really expensive and it probably to expensive for the middle class or even upper middle class and probably be only for the rich and wealthy.

I think most stuff on star trek is at least twice as far in the future then in the star trek time line.

Warp drive is probably 350-400 years in the future at a minimum. It is possible and one day some civilization may successfully make it work but it isn't within the short term.

I think nuclear rockets, fusion rockets and maybe anti-matter rockets are what we will have in the next couple of centuries.
Anti-matter none the less is probably 150 years in the future and will make generational ships possible. As in 150-200 years to stars within 4-6 light years away.

I think land riders will happen fairly soon. Fan based is good enough! Look at the flying car thread! ;) Anti-gravity probably will take a whole new kind of physics or something so that will take a long time.

Sadly, you're right about repilcaters and teleporters of all forms with dealing with solid matter. I think it will one day be possible but only with quantum computers being over seen by AGI level A.i. What will have to happen is every particle in your body or in your food will need to be tracked and only when it is capable of doing so will it become possible.

I think genetic engineering will solve most problems in the future. But I wouldn't put a.i capable nano-robots that far into the future.

Space ships? Economics! That is what will move this forward or further into the future.
