Breaking Out of the Simulation (Simulation Theory)

1. Become as attractive as possible so your player/slavemaster/whatever will take you as their pet/fall in love with you. At the very least, they’ll keep you around.
2. Attempt to achieve the goal of the simulation, such as world peace or making a lot of money/becoming famous/donating to charity/etc. May or may not result in the termination of the simulation.

Thoughts? Additions? Constructive Criticism?

I don't think the creator of the situation would care how you look because they would be more interested in the simulation. Also, as we don't know who created it, we wouldn't know when they would want to end the simulation.

What makes you think that they wouldn’t care what you look like? How many of us care what our avatars look like when we play games? At the very least, they’re designed to be cool even if you choose the default character. Thinking soldiers, cyberpunk, mortal kombat, things like that.

If they think the simulation might ultimately fail (i.e. nuclear war), they may choose to end the simulation early.

I would think the creator of the simulation would not be like us, even if they were a future human, so knowing what they would like would be impossible. Also, without knowing what the simulation is for, we couldn't know if it would be ended early.

We can make educated guesses. World peace seems like a more likely goal than, say, allowing Satanism to become the dominant world religion or something sinister.

Although we cannot guess what kind of physical appearance they would like us to have, even babies have natural reactions to beautiful/ugly faces. Admittedly, they are human and not evolved like future humans/extraterrestrials may be, but cybernetic augmentation, plastic surgery, or being as safe as possible and not getting anything done (with the goal being to live a long, healthy life) seem like possible, if not probable, goals...

Perhaps each of us has our own goal. Perhaps the goal is to work together to achieve a main goal and we all have lesser goals as well...

Do you think it’s run by an individual, an organization, a country, a planet, a company...?

This is hard to answer since we don't know anything about who created the simulation, but I would think an individual or an organization are the most likely creators of the simulation, but as we don't know why the simulation was created, we won't know for sure.

When it comes to simulation theories I always (regardless of what I may think) tell people that we are a social experiment on greed for an advanced race. The best way to break out of the simulation is to just be a good person ;)

I agree with Revolutionary Moderate. If they have the ability to simulate our entire world, and each of us in it, then their very being and essence might be alien to us. It would be foolish to make any assumptions using some "educated guesses" which are really just based off our own hopes and biases. You're talking about "goals". What makes you think there are "goals"? And what makes you think humans are central to those "goals"? And even if we're to assume that both of those assumptions are true, you still wouldn't be able to rank one "goal" as being more likely or important than the other. Maybe making Satanism into the world religion is the goal. There's no way in Hell you'd know. Pun intended.
