The Future of Prostitution or Sex Work.

Ideally what will Prostitution look like around the world? We have seen alcohol prohibition end. Legalization of same sex marriage in many countries and states. Marijuana Legalized. What will prostitutions look like in the World?

Sexbot brothels, VR brothels, but actual irl human on human prostitution will be the last to be legalised, which is kind of ridiculous.

Prostitution is really unethical not because there’s anything wrong with sex or being promiscuous but because it’s really messed up to make money off of someone’s body. Even independent prostitution I have an issue with because is objectifies people and turns us into commodities.

That said, it should be legal only so prostitutes can be better protected from the various dangers they face. I think that given this cultures awful interpretation of the sexual revolution as late with so many internet based sexual services it’s likely prostitution will be legalized in many anglophone countries where it isn’t already within 50 years. The act of paying for sexual services is becoming normalized in our culture and that effect will only amplify overtime.

That said, the economy will look so radically different in 50 years that prostitution may also not even be something we’re thinking about. Especially in 100 years, by that time we’ll either be moving into a post-scarcity utopia as we pick up the pieces of the 21st century or be in all out post-industrial collapse.

Probably something like the Eden Club from Detroit: Become Human.

NSFW (obviously :) ).
