I've been following Gartner hype cycles since 2009 and they are very unreliable. Not even one was ever correct.
Global economy doubles in product every 15-20 years. Computer performance at a constant price doubles nowadays every 4 years on average. Livestock-as-food will globally stop being a thing by ~2050 (precision fermentation and more). Human stupidity, pride and depravity are the biggest problems of our world.

In 10 years, I want to see one of these, but for AI-generated videos.

If you look at this timeline as 20 years behind as a general rule it becomes even more impressive. That also means amazing stuff has been or is completed by now in the 2020's. Yes some of it would be daunting because you would be putting your freedom at risk like fully digital world as currently in China for at least the past 20 years if not a little more though it is still exciting to see.
