Imagine a future state of tech where we can do this in Google Earth— perfect photorealistic recreations of earlier eras that can be explored in real time, even in VR.

I think THIS is the Battlefront video that made me go "I can't believe what I'm seeing!"
And yeah, it still holds up.


From 2015 at that! Just goes to show how most of photorealism is in the lighting.
