Ok. But can they be optimistic? It's not hard. And we need to see the future as better than today. It would give us hope at least.
Yeah, it'd be nice if they are optimistic for a change. One of the primary reasons I'm a futurist is that I believe we'll shed our legacy as a warring society as we begin to make significant inroads to solving many of our intractable problems through technological means.
To know is essentially the same as not knowing. The only thing that occurs is the rearrangement of atoms in your brain.
