Just north of Edgware are the stone arch remnants of Brockley Hill Tube station, the project abandoned because of World War Two.
What was once promised to be a transport link stretching all the way to Hertfordshire is now a moss covered, graffiti ridden stone wall.
The construction of the new offshoot of the Northern line began in 1936 but the entire proposal was binned 18 years later in February, 1954.
It would have run from Edgware north to Brockley Hill and then to two new stations, Elstree South and Bushey Heath.

It would of been interesting to see what could of happened to it after 1954 if they had not cancelled the project.

You might want to take another look at the link you provided. The page is missing.

I've fixed the link. It was copied from Facebook, so you need to remove the "?fbclid=" part of the URL, and everything that comes after that.
