After 36 years, Beetlejuice has finally come back to haunt you.
Warner Bros. has released the trailer for Tim Burton’s follow-up to his 1988 cult classic horror-comedy “Beetlejuice,” with Michael Keaton reprising his role as the ghoulish title character. The sequel, officially titled “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” is set for release on Sept. 6.
In addition to Keaton, original “Beetlejuice” Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara are back as Lydia and Delia Deetz, respectively. Jenna Ortega rounds out the family as newcomer Astrid Deetz. Monica Bellucci plays Beetlejuice’s wife and Willem DeFoe stars as a “police officer in the afterlife” and former “B movie action star,” whose acting skills help him as an afterlife detective. Justin Theroux also joins the sequel in a new role.

Can't wait to see this on Netflix from the 3rd July, whenever I get the chance I watch the Beverly Hills Cop franchise either on Netflix or DVD.

[...] What oil was to the 20th century, food and water will be to the 21st – precious, geopolitically powerful and contested. “The 20th century had Opec,” says Halverson in the film. “In the future, we’re going to have Food Pec.”

Avatar 3 Title Confirmed As Avatar: Fire And Ash By James Cameron At D23
by Ben Travis | Published 6 hours ago
Fresh news all the way from Pandora: the film formerly known as Avatar 3 is now known by another name. Disney’s D23 Expo event, currently taking place in Anaheim, California, featured a panel packed with major updates from the studio’s various brands – and during the three-hour presentation, none other than James Cameron turned up to bring some updates from his Na’vi pals. Most notably, revealing that the follow-up to 2022’s Avatar: The Way Of Water will officially be titled Avatar: Fire And Ash.
Previously, the film was thought to be titled ‘Avatar: The Seed-Bearer’ – but Cameron’s official title feels more in keeping with the elemental nature of The Way Of Water. “It’s got very high emotional stakes,” Cameron teased of the threequel from the D23 stage. “Even more than ever before.” As well as teasing a new character that fans will “love to hate”, the director promised some twists and turns ahead for the Sully family. “The new film is not what you expect,” he intoned. “But it’s definitely what you want.” Here’s some early concept art revealed on stage at the event.
If all goes to plan, Avatar: Fire And Ash will be heading to cinemas around Christmas 2025. Can it prove another billion-dollar-plus behemoth at the box office? What kind of fire and ash is in store? And how exactly does Payakan the mighty Tulkun factor into all of this? We’ll find out in just over a year’s time.

Minecraft fans devastated by ‘awful’ live-action trailer: ‘This should have been animated’
As someone who used to play Minecraft on and off, a few years ago. Even this, should be scrapped and taken back to the drawing board. An animated film would look better or can't they remember Sonic?

Warner Bros has unveiled the first trailer for its live-action Minecraft movie leaving gaming fans extremely disappointed.
From Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess, the forthcoming film, titled A Minecraft Movie, features a star-studded cast of Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Oscar nominee Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple), Wednesday star Emma Myers and Jennifer Coolidge.
The movie is an adaptation of Mojang Studios’ best-selling video game, which was first released in 2009, and has sold over 300 million copies with nearly 140 million monthly active players.
A Minecraft Movie welcomes viewers to a world “where creativity doesn’t just help you craft, it’s essential to one’s survival!” an official description reads.
“Four misfits – Garrett ‘The Garbage Man’ Garrison (Momoa), Henry (Sebastian Eugene Hansen), Natalie (Myers) and Dawn (Brooks) – find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination.”
