General gaming news and discussion
Re: General gaming news and discussion
I love the Mario Kart games, but I'm rubbish at them. I can almost never beat my brother, or anyone else.

How to be sad, how to work in retail and play a simulated game based on working in a supermarket too.

Could get very "comfy" if it gets the right updates.Time_Traveller wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 7:08 pm

Since I work in one, I would be comfortable playing this game only problem I would end up trying to follow their layout.Powers wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 7:36 pmCould get very "comfy" if it gets the right updates.Time_Traveller wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 7:08 pm

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Here's the fresh announcement trailer (with official commentary) to the upcoming (September 26th) Nintendo 2.5D game The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for the Nintendo Switch. This time gamers play as Zelda, instead of as Link. Which is not unexpected, because on March 22th Princess Peach: Showtime! came out, which has Peach as the protagonist (not the first time). The series has been going strong for 38 years in 2024.
It features new mechanics, large game world, various puzzles and a new story. Zelda has Tri-Rod, which allows her to copy "echoes" of game objects to use in places the player cleverly chooses. It has cutesy stylised graphics which look great in my opinion (isometric view) and I think that Switch isn't powerful enough for realistic graphics enjoyers anyway. If you like realistic games then buy a PC or a PS5.

Give International Friendship Day an intergalactic flavour with a Star Trek x Doctor Who crossover

The sci-fi universes will come together in two mobile games made specially for International Friendship Day.
Friendship is a wonderful thing. Out of this world, you could say.
East Side Games certainly think so – the game studio has announced a very special crossover between Star Trek and Doctor Who in honour of International Friendship Day (30 July).
Dubbing this year’s celebration the inaugural Intergalactic Friendship Day, the Vancouver-based studio is combining the shows’ sci-fi universes in the Star Trek: Lower Decks Mobile and Doctor Who: Lost in Time mobile games.
Starting from 1 August, fans will – for a limited time – be able to experience the same story from two unique perspectives.
