For football fans we live in a special era where there is a great deal of evidence that Messi and Ronaldo are the two greatest players of all time and they are playing in this generation.
For some years I have thought Messi was the "GOAT" greatest of all time but I am starting to think it might be Cristiano Ronaldo I see him as a more complete attacker, I think Messi will age faster than him so Ronaldo will have more years as one of the worlds best as he is still one of the worlds best at 36 years old. Just looking at statistics gives Messi a unfair advantage as Messi has only played in attacking positions where as Ronaldo has spent significant time in positions such as right midfield also Ronaldo's clubs on average have been worse and less attacking then Messi's Barcelona which between 2008-2012 was debatably the best club of all time managed by Pep Guardiola who will probably go down as the best manager of all time.
