Interactive Websites
Interactive Websites
Relaunch of a more obscure thread from the old forum: websites that offer some interactivity, like simulations or little games or, much more recently, AI-generated media.
Only rule is: they must be usable in your browser. No downloads! Even if there are paid elements, you can post them here. While I don't recommend "games," you can include them so long as they fall more towards the "simulator" end of the spectrum.
Here's a simple gravity simulator!
And here's Artbreeder which uses GANs to create an array of things you can easily modify, like human faces, landscapes, anime characters, and more.
NukeMap is a classic: simulating atomic explosions using Google Maps, with a wide range of data to be gleaned.
And here's a Fluid Simulator, so you can play around with fluid dynamics.

And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future

I follow this thread btw
Everytime someone posts something here I'll try to contribute something myself.

Re: Interactive Websites
This website is really incredible, it's an entire little operating system built into a website.
Make sure to exit out of the default window to access the desktop and explore!

Re: Interactive Websites
Old website from 2000-ish.
http://www.dancingpaul.com/
I think it used to be made in Flash. But since that went obsolete, I guess he converted it to a newer version.

Re: Interactive Websites
A bunch of links I'm pulling from an imageboard archive I've got saved locally.
Also isn't there another thread like this one but for non-interactive websites or am I tripping?
>Classic Reload
Loads of old and retro games online for free: https://classicreload.com/
>Retro Games
Covers games not already covered by classic reload: https://www.retrogames.cc/
>Lichess
An internet chess server that includes tutorials and daily exercises: https://lichess.org/
>Rokko Chan
A flash game based on Mega Man. It also includes an artbook and its soundtrack: http://king-soukutu.com/flash/rokko.html
>Retro View of Mankind's Habitat
Maybe its not a great site now, but before it was 'globalized' it was sort of nice (and it had different name: oldmos.ru (old moscow) and interface): https://pastvu.com/
>Retromap
Another obvious one: http://retromap.ru/
>TimeStretch Player
Website that let you change the pitch, speed and tone of an audio file. I find it useful whenever I'm getting burnout of a song and want to keep listening to it. Works well with songs made with the style of Avicii and Kygo: https://29a.ch/timestretch/
>Gondola Stravers
Massive Gondola archive: https://gondola.stravers.net/list
>Random Country
Generates a random country: https://random.country
>Bored Button
Has lots of things to do if you're bored: https://www.boredbutton.com/
