I thought this was interesting. I'm a Gen X-er(born in 1980), and I've always found that the older generations are less talked about.
The Generations of Today:
-Boomers: Born 1955 to 1964
-Generation X: Born 1965 to 1980
-Millennials: Born 1981 to 1996
-Generation Z: Born 1997 to 2012

Re: The Generations of today...
It's interesting that Gen X tends not to get talked about despite being extremely influential in basically every aspect of the economy, politics and culture. Most well-known billionaires are Gen X including Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk. Most famous celebrities who shaped TV and music for the past 40 years are Gen X as well, like Brad Pitt, Michael Jackson, and the list goes on and on. Most of the incumbent corporations that represent "big tech" were founded and ran by Gen Xers in the 90s and 2000s.
Re: The Generations of today...
The Boomer generation starts at 1945, not 1955.
