Seems we might need this as well!

U.S.-China Space Race Takes Off As Beijing Announces Crewed Missions To Mars
China plans to send its first crewed mission to Mars in 2033, the country’s lead rocket maker announced Thursday, part of the country’s ambitious plan to begin large-scale development of the Red Planet and ratcheting up tensions with the U.S. as the two race to become the Earth’s dominant power in space.
China intends to send crewed missions to Mars in 2033, 2035, 2037, 2041 and 2043, said Wang Xiaojun, the head of state-owned China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology during a conference.
Posts in this thread can be crossposted, but this is a thread for articles related to these two superpowers acting and reacting against each other in Earth's high-aerospace.
And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future

Let's see if America's vaunted battle-tested capitalism will come to its rescue again. ;)
To know is essentially the same as to not to know. The only thing that occurs is entropy.

China and U.S. Developing Separate Plans to Deploy Rockets to Save the Earth from Asteroids By Susan Hall
July 7, 2021 ... to-try-it/

(BBC) LIANGSHAN, CHINA – JULY 06: A Long March-3C rocket carrying a relay satellite Tianlian I-05 blasts off from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center on July 6, 2021 in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province of China.

The endeavor is not an idea birthed from science fiction stories, as per Reuters. In fact, the United States’ National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is also planning to prevent the dangers of Earth-hitting asteroids.

As such, the space agency conducted simulations on May 24 in an attempt to stop an asteroid the same size as Texas from wreaking havoc on our dear Earth.

Now China is also exerting effort to save the world from the dangers of asteroids. The National Space Science Center of China is initially sending their most enormous rockets to disrupt the direction of dangerous rocks away from our home planet.

The Chinese researchers also performed their simulation, which showed that a total of 23 Long March 5 rockets hitting an asteroid at the same time will be enough to change the route of the rock.
