Also FWIW this isn't because the UK super-blocked Imgur, it's actually because Imgur themselves are geoblocking the UK. MediaLab/Imgur had a fine levied at them back on 10th September, and thought simply leaving the UK would make the fine go away (the ICO have stated this is not the case and their investigation remains ongoing). There is quite literally no reason for Imgur to be blocked in rainy old England.
