No human being deserves to do repeatable like work all day. These are the people that deserve the basic income as it is ethical and allows them to be treated with respect. Then they could focus on getting into knowledge or creativity jobs that should in fact be protect with laws. In a much better world this is the way it should be.

I hope they're being compensated but I agree that I doubt it.

What is Dystopian in my mind is if humans are locked out of knowledge or creativity like jobs. I doubt it as they'll likely be a movement of buy and use only human products and media developing very soon. So start ups will be hiring humans. But lets say somehow there is a law against that? Well, then a.i becomes our masters within 2-3 generation as humans become nothing but animals. That is how human farms form. To prevent that we need the 70% knowledge and creativity human law and the humans work with a.i to enhance our skills.

I'm sorry, what? How is this related to technological unemployment? An unaligned ASI would just dispose of us in any case.

Furthermore, why would you retain unnecessary jobs for the hell of it? It's not like anyone is forbidden from producing art for leisure despite the existence of basic income.
