Should I make a thread for socialism vs Capitalism?

I was thinking of making the thread so people have a place to freely debate their ideologies.

I also think its a better reflection of the cold war between Capitalism and Socialism than the China vs USA cold war thread.

I am asking here as I don't want to make a new thread if you guys think there are too many similar threads.

That's fine, although Off-topic might be better than the future forums.

This thread existed on the old forum so it would make a good addition. It will inevitably bleed onto other threads as it has for years because somehow this website isn't an echochamber like most of the internet. Props to Wjfox for that.
