Truss has resigned after just 45 days as PM. This makes her the shortest-serving PM in British history, even shorter than George Canning.

It is looking like there still won't be an general election. They're going to go for another round of voting for a Conservative Party leader. Won't that be good for Labour? The Tories are so abysmally bad that they have to reinstate Bojo the clown with all the scandals still fresh in memory.

I'd imagine he'd be too focused on revenge against the MPs who ousted him to actually govern effectively.
