2024 National General Election Poll:

Donald Trump 49% (+5)
Joe Biden 44%
.
Donald Trump 50% (+8)
Kamala Harris 42%

I guess this far out from the election, one can expect the polls to be all over the place. Either that, or something is missing in regards to depth of commitment:
58% of Americans think former President Donald Trump should be charged with a crime for his role in the Jan. 6 Capital riot - an increase of 6% since the House hearings on the insurrection began. 91% of Democrats, 19% of Republicans, and 62% of independents now think Trump should be charged with a crime.
Source: July 1, 2022 paper edition of The Week, page 17 apparently citing an ABC News/Ipsos poll.

Edit: Oh wait, maybe some folks think he should serve as president from the confines of a prison cell. (I must remember in the future to cover every angle).
Lots of things could happen between now and then but my ideal scenario is that Trump should be charged with a crime and be sentenced to go to Jail plus he should not be able to serve as President in 2024.

I'll snow in hell before Donald Trump ever spends a single second behind bars rather he is guilty or not. I think his chances of being reelected are higher and I don't believe that is very likely because the moderates and unionist that voted for him in 2016 aint coming back. Trump won the rust belt because people believed he could bring back their jobs...Well, he proved to be a liar and one that governed as heartless and without compassion.

I wish Trump wouldn't run in 2024. The guy has been destroyed among most independents, moderates and any democrat that could reasonably be convinced to vote republican for president. Sure, he'll win his base but you need a lot more then that to win the presidency.

America needs someone that will rebuild our economy into one that can put more people to work, rebuild our middle class and rebuild the family. Someone that trying solve problems that effects our society on the right that the republicans can run against Biden. That is what we need. Loserterianism isn't going to win either as only about 20% country even considers themselves one of them, so the small government, f*ck the poor bullshit isn't going to work. It is probably one the main reasons he lost in 2020.

The whispers of Hillary Clinton 2024 have started

Updated 1421 GMT (2221 HKT) June 28, 2022

In the immediate aftermath of the Supreme Court's monumental decision to overturn Roe v Wade, conservative writer John Ellis took to the internet to make a provocative case: It was time for Hillary Clinton to make a(nother) political comeback.

"Now is her moment," he wrote. "The Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade creates the opening for Hillary Clinton to get out of stealth mode and start down the path toward declaring her candidacy for the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination."

Ellis' argument is centered on the ideas that 1) President Joe Biden, who will be 82 shortly after the 2024 election, is simply too old to run again (Ellis is far from the only person making that case) and 2) The Democratic bench is not terribly strong

He's not the only person eyeing a Clinton re-emergence.
