So it now looks like Ida is going to hit New Orleans area as a Category 5. I think there needs to be some serious discussions being had on the future of this city and whether it should be rebuilt or if it is time to start relocating people. This is expensive and it is going to start occurring more frequently and not less...

I hope we don't see a repeat of Katrina. I hope the recently reinforced levees hold up this time.

The storm surge won’t be as bad as Katrina but the wind and rain will likely be worse. Who knows what will happen.
