What does he mean by "genetic resources"?
I suspect that the human population is set not just for shrinkage but collapse—and soon.

By "genetic resources", he's referring to the fact after each genetic bottleneck in our history, we've become more homogenous and lost much of our diversity. There is some truth to that, but I don't think that the fact could or should be paired to the other factors he listed in the way he does.

The economy is planned so it can be planned to not make us go extinct due to climate change.
