Honestly no, not until we have ASI or something to verify the safe "resurrection" of these individuals. I believe the science should be advanced and funded more if not to better understand and mitigate the human processes around death. Could be a viable alternative down the line should anti-ageing undergo any hiccups in viability.

If I had the option and an incurable disease though, I'd certainly be willing to consider it. Perhaps in the future, humanity might view it as more ethical than euthanasia, if said cost of cryo-freezing were covered and whatnot.

By the time we have ASI we wouldn't need cryonics

Not sure are you saying cryonics are more advance now than say 15 years ago? Why is cryonics not talk about much?

Why is cryonics not ethical now?

Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) is a hypothetical form of AI that surpasses human intelligence across all cognitive tasks.

Are there some countries in the world where Cryopreservation is more part of the culture than other countries? What I mean by that is in the US it is really Christian society so they place no emphasis on preserving the body. Hack even doing the Egypt time line mummies where more preserve than today than say with Christian that just throw the body away like trash putting it in the ground or cremating it and throwing the ashes every where.

The idea of preserving the body is in the future advance medicine can repair the body and hope cryopreservation can help.

But the Christian society of place no emphasis on preserving the body is just terrible. Has they don’t even make effort.

What may be more possible and ready before cryopreservation is brain transplants. Where you have surgery and transplants the brain to a humanoid robot or android. I see this technology being more available before cryopreservation.

Where may be in 10 years from now you transplants brain of dying person into humanoid robot or android.

Image transplanting your brain to humanoid robot like this when you are dying.
