The predictions of Hamish McRae

I'd never heard of him until today, but he's a somewhat famous British futurist who got several predictions right in his 1994 book about what 2020 would be like. This video summarizes those predictions:
This 2019 interview reveals his predictions for 2050. Among other things, he sees the E.U. becoming a looser organization which Britain might rejoin, major political change in China, and some unknown type of technology that will be as consequential as the smartphone or PC being unveiled.
