Newcastle United for some time has been one of the poor performing teams in the English premier league.
In October 2021 a consortium consisting of PCP Capital Partners, Reuben Brothers and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF) took over ownership of the club. PIF alone is worth many times more than any other football club owner being valued at well over 300 billion dollars.
Logically despite some financial fair play regulations the club with the most financial backing should have the biggest advantage.
The club has already gone from risking relegation to comfortably being around the lower middle section in the league.
Specifically my prediction is that they will win the Champions league at least once meaning evidence points to them being the best team in the world that year.
