Future Timeline

There have been many proposals to abolish time zones, thus making it UTC everywhere in the entire world. Abolition of time zones is included in the Hanke-Henry Permanent Calendar, for example.

But what are the pros and cons of abolishing time zones?

Once AIs take over, they'll abolish time zones and probably just use UTC everywhere.
