Future Timeline

How long would it take for the United states to nix Greenland, Panama and Canada? Lets assume Trump is serious and will use the most powerful military in the entire world to take ownership of said places. How long do you think it would take? It took under a month for our military to take over iraq. A nation of 35 million people in 2003.


Greenland---> one week. We could send 5,000 troops and a aircraft battle group off the west coast near the capital.
Panama--->3-4 weeks. Sure, there'd be fighting but our military would be rising the American flag over the presidential house in 3-4 weeks at most.
Canada--->3-5 months. This would take longer but Canada has 1/50th of our military power?

Of course this is assuming they get no serious help from allies and friends. China? Brazil? A combine military from the EU? As in nato for defense of Canada against the united states. That would be a very ugly war. I don't think it would defeat the United states in the end either and may well get its combined ass kicked and the America flag raised over the Uk parliament, german parliament, etc.

Trump isn't serious about taking them over. However, within 100 years I think there's a high likelihood of a machine army that originates in the U.S. annexing Canada, Greenland and Panama, plus other countries.

Not even Trump is crazy enough to start a literal hot war with the Commonwealth countries, as yes, King Charles is Canada's actual head of state that's exactly what that entails. Pretty certain at that point an actual removal past impeachment would ensue for any U.S. president.

A "military operation" into Mexico however is a bit different, but that still remains to be seen.

But with NATO + China and South America (maybe?) it would end more catastrophical than Russia in Ukraine besides Canada.

If climate change is at bad as prognosticated then it may be safe to call it a state in the "ex-america".

The unique chance for it to really happen is appeasement (never happening) or joining forces with Putin's Russia and friends.

Only problem is Pierre Poilievre might agree to peaceful annexation in a worst case scenario. His party is basically guaranteed to win the next general election, which could happen as soon as next month.

Otherwise Canada is under NATO's nuclear umbrella. I doubt Trump is interested in mutual destruction
