Future Timeline

I firmly believe that jeans are having a ‘last hurrah’ moment in mainstream fashion before fading into obscurity as soon as the 2030s, at least in Southern California. I think younger Gen. Alpha will ditch jeans entirely and by the late-21st century, jeans will effectively become extinct, with maybe some old people still wearing them.

Enjoy wearing your jeans while they’re still in fashion. Denim did have a long run, stretching as far back as the 19th century, but I’m afraid that they will go out of style soon.
