The PC I got was DOA! Or at least the GPU was.
Shit! So I decided to get a refund and then a new one for barely more than the cost of the old one.
This one only has an i5-12600K (which to be fair isn't much worse than the i7-12700K; it's still substantially better than the 17-9700K for good measure and is only very slightly worse than the i7-12700K), but to make up for it, I decided to get a much better GPU: the 3080.
Looking at the specs for the first one, I'm kicking myself for spending $150 more for the i7-12700K when the i5-12600K is quite literally almost indistinguishable and then getting a 3070 when I could've gotten a 3080. So I'm rectifying that one for the second try. Everything else except the PSU is the same; I'm getting a 750W one this time around to account for the more powerful GPU.
